Department of "Finance"

 

Department of "Finance and Credit" was founded on August 26, 1996.

At different times the department were headed by c.e.s, professor Bekibaeva Sh.B., d.e.s., professor Zhakipbekov S.Zh., c.e.s., associate professor Bigeldieva Z.A. Currently, the department is headed by c.e.s., associate professor Aitymbetova A.N.

Modern "Finance" department was founded in August 2014 by joining the departments "Banking" and "Taxes and Taxation" and is a structural subdivision of the Higher School of Management and Business of M. Auezov South Kazakhstan State University. The department has a teaching staff with great experience in pedagogical and   practical activities, including 1 doctor of economic sciences, professor, 9 candidates of economic sciences, 2 PhD, and 9 masters.

During this time, over 4000 specialists have been trained in various sectors of the economy: finance, banking, taxation, industrial associations, insurance and investment companies, state and commercial enterprises.

Research in progress: During these years the department has been working on improving the academic degree. In 2017 senior lecturer of the department Kulbay B.S., in 2018 the senior teacher of the department Zhakipbekova D.S. defended. Both were awarded PhD degrees of Doctor of Philosophy. Also, in 2018, the candidate of economic sciences Issayeva G.K. She received the  title of Associate Professor (Associate Professor), confirmed by the Committee for Control of Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2021, the candidate of economic sciences Aitymbetova A.N. received the  title of Associate Professor (Associate Professor), confirmed by the Committee for Control in the Sphere of Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Published articles: over the past 3 years (from 2018), over 200 articles have been published in various scientific and practical journals, including: high-rated international journals included in the SCOPUS, Thomson Reuters, RINZ databases, journals recommended by the Committee for Control of Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Over the past three years, the faculty of the department issued and used in the educational process more than 21 textbooks and 10 monographs in the state, russian, english languages.
